From pioneering the battery that powered every car in FIA Formula E, to scaling R&D teams across three continents, to leading Williams Grand Prix Technologies: I bring motorsport speed and precision to industries that need both.
Two firsts in one career: the powertrain behind Formula 1’s first hybrid Grand Prix win, and the battery that powered every car in Formula E’s first four seasons.


In 2008 I joined Mercedes-Benz High Performance Powertrains to work on the Kinetic Energy Recovery System. A year later the McLaren Mercedes carried it to Formula 1’s first hybrid Grand Prix win. At Williams Advanced Engineering I then led the battery that powered every car on the FIA Formula E grid for its first four seasons.


At CNH Industrial I built the electric powertrain organisation from the ground up across three countries, then as Global Vice President of Advanced Technologies and Innovations led hundreds of engineers on three continents across AI, robotics, digital twins, advanced materials and alternative fuels.

Today, as Managing Director and CTO of Williams Grand Prix Technologies, I bring that combination of motorsport engineering and corporate scale, with battery technology at its core, to organisations ready to move at motorsport pace.
